The institute states that its postgraduate programme is a lato sensu specialisation approved by the MEC, with a MEC-recognised diploma on the MEC route. It also offers an in-house IAV route that leads to an Instituto Alma Viva completion certificate rather than a MEC diploma.
The programme is priced in instalments rather than as a single published fee. For the MEC route, the institute lists 18 monthly instalments from R$1,890 to R$2,490 depending on enrolment order, with discounts for upfront payment or 12 instalments; for the IAV route, it lists 18 monthly instalments from R$1,299 to R$1,499, again with discounts available. The experiential in-person module is included on the MEC route and priced separately on the IAV route.
Learners finish with either a MEC-recognised postgraduate diploma or an Instituto Alma Viva certificate, depending on route. The course is framed around clinical competence in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, with exposure to preparation, integration, ethics, and supervised or criteria-based practical activity, plus priority access to psilocybin protocols when approved.
