Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAP) Intensive Training is an online course focused on the clinical use of psychotherapy in non-ordinary states of consciousness. It emphasizes the principles of psychedelic psychotherapy and how this approach differs from conventional cognitive and behavioral methods. The curriculum includes live, interactive case discussions, observational and experiential learning, role play, and group discussion. Topics covered include the history of psychedelic medicines, brain effects and neural networks, pharmacology and mechanism of action, self-regulation skills, journey preparation, treatment-resistant depression, trauma, ethics, risk management, and therapist factors. The course is designed for clinicians and other health care providers seeking to integrate PAP into practice. It is presented over three intensive days online and includes case studies and treatment videos at different stages of the PAP process.
