It is less suited to people seeking a standalone certification pathway or a commercial facilitator-training brand.
Prerequisites vary by programme. Harvard's chaplaincy teaching is within Harvard Divinity School and the related course HDS 2930 sits in the graduate curriculum; the medical continuing-education course is aimed at speciality physicians, primary care physicians, social workers, counsellors, psychologists, nurses and others.
Harvard Medical School continuing-education activities are jointly accredited by ACCME, ACPE and ANCC and can award CME/CE credit, including 13.25 AMA PRA Category 1 credits for the psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy course. The Harvard Divinity School psychedelic chaplaincy material is an academic course and not a professional certification.
The Harvard Medical School continuing-education course lists role-based fees of $585 for physicians and $485 for nurses, PAs, psychologists, residents/fellows, social workers and other allied health professionals, plus a $10 non-refundable processing fee; prices include CME credit and an electronic syllabus. Harvard does not publish a single programme price for its broader psychedelic initiatives.
