In collaboration with Trinity College Dublin's Professor Declan McLoughlin, it has run the KITE-Dep study (ketamine interleaved with ECT), the KARMA-Dep pilot RCT, and the definitive KARMA-Dep-2 randomised clinical trial — the most rigorous investigation of repeated IV ketamine infusions as adjunctive inpatient therapy for major depression conducted in Ireland.
