This comprehensive program provides a thorough exploration of the pharmacological properties, clinical research results, toxicity profiles, and drug interactions associated with a variety of mind-altering substances. Students will better understand each molecule, including MDMA, psilocybin, LSD, mescaline, ayahuasca, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, ketamine, and ibogaine.
The Psychedelic Pharmacology Masters Series - for which this course is a companion/supplement - consists of three different courses; Foundation to Psychedelic Pharmacology, Psychedelic Pharmacology by Substance & Clinical Pharmacology of Psychedelics. Each course takes deep dive into the pharmacological aspects surrounding psychedelics covering topics such as pharmacodynamics, neuroanatomy, the chemical nature of the various psychedelics and how psychedelics are used in clinical practice, amongst many other things.
The course was designed and created by the Spirit Pharmacist, Dr Ben Malcolm. Dr Malcolm is a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist whose keen interest in psychedelics led him to design and develop this series of online courses.
