PSS2 Psychedelic Guide Training is a Level 2 program that builds on Level 1 and focuses on facilitating experiences similar to MDMA/Psilocybin using psychedelic cannabis in a professional setting. The course covers guiding techniques, the Five Awareness Practice, internal mindfulness practices, phenomenological understanding of psychedelic journeywork states, and ethics-related topics such as assessments, contraindications, safe community policy, and guiding versus therapy. The program is experientially based. Students participate in guided cannabis sessions, take turns sitting, guiding, and holding space, and attend two Conscious Cannabis Circles as part of the training. The source also describes a 4.5-day intensive format with lectures, small group work, professional development, and a closing ceremony. This training is intended for students continuing into psychedelic guidework and for those preparing for roles such as assistant practitioner, small group leader, or further study in PSS3 – Advanced Practices in Psychedelic Therapy. A practicum follows the intensive, with additional guided practice and integration support.
