Professional Training Course Outline

This two-year training prepares practitioners for psychedelic assisted therapy through a depth relational approach. Course content draws on psychedelic literature, archetypal and transpersonal psychology, psychodynamic and attachment models, embodied practice, intergenerational trauma work, clinical research, systemic perspectives, and shamanic and indigenous wisdom traditions. The programme is immersive and experiential, with online academic and experiential sessions, in-person intensive modules, and residential retreats. It also includes group supervision, community and integration circles, and a requirement for personal psychotherapy as part of the training. It is intended for applicants seeking professional training in psychedelic assisted therapy. Graduates of the course will be eligible to become professional members of the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy.
