Synaptic's Psilocybin Practitioner Training is a 6-month hybrid program for students preparing for licensure as psilocybin facilitators under Oregon’s Psilocybin Services Initiative (Measure 109). The program uses a small-group cohort model limited to 24 participants and includes 40 didactic learning modules covering topics such as trauma-informed care, shamanism, intake and preparation, and group facilitation. Instruction is delivered through weekly Zoom classes, pre-recorded coursework, depth instruction sessions, and journal club meetings. In-person components include an orientation retreat, practicum, and graduation, along with supervised psilocybin experiential learning at a licensed service center in Portland, Oregon. The curriculum also includes apprenticeship hours with pre-approved mentors and personal growth work completed outside the program. The course is intended for participants seeking practical training in entheogenic facilitation and ongoing support after graduation.
